Our Story and who are My PESP

Making a difference using a different model of business - Social Enterprises

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. My Personal Enablement Support Partnership CIC emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community of people with Learning Disabilities. Established in 2018, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. Contact us to learn more and get involved.

We have begun supporting young adults and families through the summer of 2018. This has included creating networks, sharing our vision and developing our exceptionally high standards. 

We are trained and skilled in Management and Leadership with a passion for outstanding. Our ethos and values are embedded into everything that we do. We are here for the social good and to lift the Quality of Life of the people who's lives we touch. Our approach is drizzled with mindfulness, wellbeing, behaviouralism, normalisation, innovation and social purpose.

Our journey and what we do

  • We support multiple children, young people and adults who living in multiple different settings using truly person centred systems. This includes 4 people living in their own homes alone, 3 people living with their family (of which 1 has 24 hour a day support) and 6 people who live across two house. One house is a shared group setting and the other is a house with 3 flats. Finally, a large home for 8 Adults in the heart of Eastbourne Old Town all with their own bedsit accommodation and wonderful mini-community

  • As part of this journey, we have streamlined a business model and ensured that we are financial viable whilst truly meeting peoples needs

‘Workforce support and building a great Human Ecological Context’

  • We recognise the importance of the people we support and by consequence the workers who support them. We build great teams and employ people using a values based approach with substantial training and upskilling (please insert the  training picture below). We develop our works with a focus on exceptionally high training and Practice Leadership of the workforce to truly meet peoples needs and develop their outcomes.

  • Our Workforce are supported with a compassionate, skilful and wellbeing aware Leadership and Management team. We believe that our workforce are our most important resource to enable the people we support to flourish and have a life they deserve. Our Wellbeing support includes external consultancy, a Wellbeing Champion/Coordinator and 2 workers who sit on the board of the company advising the directors.
